The boat journey over to Samui was pretty standard. It only took about 30 minutes. I felt pretty rough for it though. Sarah kindly took a couple of pictures of me looking rough on the boat as well but they're not going on here...
Once we had eventually found somewhere to stay (and it was quite an ordeal that I won't bore you with) we went for a wander. Not sure what happened here but we wandered right in to McDonalds. Ronald called and we were weak. Doh.
We weren't too sure about Samui at first. It was so overpriced and really touristy. We ended up staying for a few days though as the huts we ended up staying in were really fun. So we chilled out alot and met a load of people. One guy kept talking to us but we wished he wouldn't. From east London. But he's the sort of east London blokes who makes people think Londeners are all w*nkers. So yeh we did try to escape him a few times but he kept popping up! Ahhhh.
As you can see in the pictures there were various animals being passed round the beach. Sarah fell in love with the monkey. We saw the monkey the next day as well and he was sucking his thumb. Sarah couldn't handle it. It was really cute. I'm still holding out for my orphan though. But Sarah if I can steal and smuggle you a monkey, I will do it. As well as the cuteness we got a hilarious picture. Liam (the bloke in the picture with the monkey) couldn't quite handle the poor little chap. Funny moment. OH yes and the snake and the Iguana.
And another massage (or 2). This travelling life really takes it's toll. I think this was the best massage I've had at this place. Pure bliss.
So in the end it was a really nice relaxing finish to our time on the Thailand islands.
