So I mentioned Shelley's party which was a success. It started off the wknd of Australia Day which is a national holiday here (26th January). And then the Sunday Shelley kindly treated us to a concert to see The Waifs. I'd never heard of them before then but they're really good. I think they're quite big in America and really big in Oz. http://www.myspace.com/thewaifs
Annie Di Franko was a warm up and she was really good as well. All going on my list of new stuff for the ipood!
They played at the gorgeous Leeuwin estate winery. Think there was probably about 3000 people there. We took a picnic and a blanket and had a really really great evening. Charlie the dog didn't fancy it though so he stayed at home.
And on actual Australia day I worked at Petra. But went out for some celebrations in the evening so didn't miss out on it all :)
